Over the past 25 years, Michael has founded, led, and worked with companies that have developed and commercialized multiple innovative ophthalmic technologies and procedures with impact.
As an engineer in physics, doctor of theoretical medicine, and entrepreneur in ophthalmology and vision care with a large network, he brings the technical, clinical, and commercial worlds together to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Currently, he is a member of the board of a range of ophthalmic companies, in addition to directing technology development at Allotex. He has lectured at ETH Zurich for 15 years, and has published over 120 articles, reports, and book chapters, as well as generating over 50 patents and patent applications.
